I applied for an RN position that was posted on Indeed. The recruiters only text, no phone calls. Mid-conversation the recruiter just stopped responding. I have found this to be VERY typical of staffing companies that list jobs that they don’t really have. Normally I simply move on, but have become incredibly frustrated with these fake job listings as applying is a complete waste of my time. Therefore, I confronted the recruiter this time for not responding (24 hours later).
A manager then texted with multiple excuses as to why the recruiter was “too busy” to respond. The only thing is that it would have taken a second to send a text back and since this was mid-conversation...read full review
