Just had a visit with a Dalinghaus rep, come to check out a crack in the foundation of my townhouse. The rep's name is Thomas Cochran. Right on time, friendly and courteous, very professional, easily engaged and easy to warm up to. One of the nicest contractor reps I've ever met. Checked out the crack in my foundation, did a thorough inspection of my house all around, then concluded that the crack is probably nothing to worry about. Warned me to keep an eye on it-- and if it widens or extends signficantly, give them a call-- but in the end said, if it were his house, he'd leave it as is and just keep an eye on it for now. How often do you hear something like that from a contractor? I asked, "Aren't you gonna get in trouble for saying this?" He said honesty pays off over the long run. Wow.
