Patients praise the doctors, James Nichols and Trevor Whitmore, as well as Michelle, a supportive and attentive provider. The staff is consistently described as friendly. The practice offers telehealth appointments for patient convenience. While some past reviews mention concerns about penalties for late arrivals, recent patient experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. It is worth noting that Dr. Nichols is transitioning to a concierge model, limiting his patient panel and offering enhanced individualized care for a yearly fee.
I am SO glad I chose Ahwatukee Family Medical Center as my primary care provider. I’ve been a patient for several years. The providers take their time and address my concerns/questions. From the front desk, especially Linda, to the back office and the phlebotomist, Darlene, everyone is welcoming, helpful, and professional. I can’t say enough great things about AFMC!!

I love this place! We see Trevor Whitmore and he is very thorough and caring. He treats all parts of your health, and due to a test he recommended to my husband who was asymptomatic, he literally saved his life.
