I took my 2019 Chrysler 300 to Firestone because they had a coupon for A/C service check. They advise me that my Expansion Valve was leaking and the part is approximately $300 + $523 freon at 25 oz canister+ Labor and tax for $1117.00 to fix it. I just paid for the inspection $20.00 I Google AC repair went down there to have it serviced for $150.. no leak was found so my stock brand freon was $9.00 per oz. x 25 ounces= $225.00 when I left with a working AC my total cost was $400.00 I save $700.00 if I had Firestone fix it!
These guys are very good. They do very good job. They are very pricey, but they’ll get the job done good and if something goes out less than a month, they’ll fix it right away only if the parts they repair and won’t charge you. My AC is running cold.
A while ago my husband took my red Hyundai Sonata to A/C service because it was in limp mode. The team there fixed it very quickly and at a great price. They even went above and beyond by fighting the dealership, which was trying to overcharge us for an issue that was actually a recall.
