Avant Garde Eye Care provides a great eye exam experience, using just insurance and without judgment for the time since the last exam. Dr. Stewart is knowledgeable, patient, and answers all questions, having helped correct a prescription mistake from another location. The business offers new frames with the updated prescription on-site. However, the front desk staff, particularly Cindy, has been noted as overworked, stressed, or in over their head, causing difficulty in making appointments. Despite this, the doctor is highly regarded and the office is described as having many beautiful frames and friendly staff. A customer has been going there for several years and is very comfortable, praising the doctor and the girls for their excellent service. Despite some front desk issues, the overall experience is positive.

Dr. Stewart has excellent bedside manner, is very attentive, and truly takes the time to listen and care for his patients. My very first experience with him was during an emergency eye visit, and he fit me in immediately without hesitation. That level of care and compassion made such a positive impression on me that I’ve continued seeing him ever since.
