BEWARE of Charley's Kustom Air from Parker. Our family has always tried to support local businesses. That being said our experience with Charley's Kustom Air was SO disappointing. They do not stand behind their work and the owner, even after several requests to speak with him, would never return our call. After 3 visits, 1st service was in April, $1,000 worth of wasted Freon and service calls (added 3 times along with dye) which leaked within 48 hours, because they did not take the time to diagnose the leak, it's now July and we still have no air. We called Charley's over the weekend when we discovered our AC was not working correctly. We were given a Wednesday appointment between 10-12. When they weren't there still at 1, we attempted to call to see if there was a delay or if we were being cancelled, but there was no answer. We are usually patient with these things but we were anxious as we needed to leave to return to CA that day. We did finally get a call from the technician that he was running behind and was about 15 minutes away. Once he arrived, he was able to find the problem and get us cooling again. I had them out four times to fix the same problem spending over a $1000.00. Each time I was told it was fixed but it wasn't. The problem only happens in the afternoon in the summer but they would never show up on time and in the afternoon when scheduled. After the last bill of over $300 for a service call they told me it would take $1500 to now replace all kinds of parts after their first four visits they said everything was fine. They told me it was under warranty but now they changed their mind. They originally installed the unit and it hasn't worked right in years after paying for multiple repairs.
