Jason, Jules, Robert, Aria, Joey, and many others are solid humans and fantastic technicians. I speak little, but recognize skill and character. Each one listed has coached me to improvement. 6906 N Camino Martin # 140, Tucson“Valor and Virtue Martial Arts Academy has been life-changing for our family. As a mom, I joined with my two now-teenage daughters three years ago, hoping to do something together, but we gained so much more, both individually and as a family.
I’ve watched my girls grow into disciplined, confident young women who take ownership of their health and their growth at school, at home, and in the dojo. The academy’s intentional, data-driven approach helps students continuously improve. Because of this, my daughters compete in CrossFit and jiu-jitsu competitions throughout the year alongside highly skilled athletes who regularly comment on their excellent technique and form—skills they’ve developed here.
Sensei Scott sets the tone for the entire academy. His leadership, consistency, and genuine investment in each student create an environment where kids are challenged, supported, and held to a high standard.
What sets Valor and Virtue apart is its heart, where a deep commitment to service, community, and giving back helps shape not just strong athletes, but strong, capable young women, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the impact it’s had on my family.“

4420 E Presidio Pl, Tucson“Jarrod has been a great help in my chronic pain relief. I go to see him for Tuina sessions and it's gentle yet effective way to relax muscles and adjust my back. Jarrod is very knowledgeable and knows how to read the tension in your body and how to properly address it. I would recommend Tuina to anyone experiencing discomfort or pain.“

16134 N Oracle Rd Ste 134, Catalina“With a special forces military background, I wanted to find a martial art to continue to challenge myself on a personal level. I visited two other schools before discovering the Aikido Academy here in Catalina. One word: "Outstanding!" The instruction provided is practical and efficient. Mr. Weber Sr., Mr. Weber Jr. , and his designated instructors are extremely professional and respectful to all and the rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting this school if you're toying with idea of exploring the Martial Arts. They have classes for children and they also teach Tai Chi. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Go see for yourself!“

“I have never seen any place where every single instructor from all levels is incredible with the kids. This speaks volume to the culture of excellence and respect of Oro Valley Martial Arts and how seriously it takes teaching individuals to not only advance themselves but also to give back. We love that they teach our kids important values in addition to Taekwondo. It is truly a space and community that we want to keep our kids (since they were toddlers!) in for as long as possible!“
