I had my hair cut earlier today by Jazz at Salon Amarian. I'm a "snowbird" from the Midwest with fine, thin hair and had been fighting my last haircut for a few weeks. Because of positive reviews, I decided to take a chance on Jazz and Salon Amarian. When I arrived at the salon, Jazz talked me through his evaluation of my prior haircut and then proceeded to fix it. He explained what he was doing and why with each step and turned a bad situation into a positive result. I couldn't be more pleased with my new haircut. Jazz was a great conversationalist and made me feel comfortable from the start. I'm confident that I've found my new stylist in Arizona with Jazz.

Went in for a haircut today and Jazz cut my hair. He did a great job. He took the time and listened (really listened) to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be going back to him. Prices are very reasonable and it's close to home, a big plus!!

It was a happy accident that I found this place. I have been letting my hair grow out for 3 months because I wanted a different style. The main reason being that I am transitioning from male to female.A major concern for me was to find a transgender friendly hair stylist. Well I definitely found that here. Dawn is absolutely awesome! Dawn not only helped me feel comfortable because of her knowledge of the transgender community and passion for people, she also did an incredible job helping me to find the hair style that fits who I am today.Dawn spent extra time at the end of her day to educate me on future hair style possibilities and proper care for the awesome haircut...read full review
