155 S Hibbert, Mesa“I have been with East Mesa School of Guitar for nearly 2 years. As an “experienced” albeit beginner player, I was looking to get back into playing my guitar after a long layoff of a few decades where I would only occasionally strum my guitar. East Mesa School of Guitar, and my instructor Fred Boye, helped me rediscover my love and passion for playing and had a great approach to teaching me enough theory to help me understand how and why to play certain songs while also ensuring I was learning new songs and staying interested in what I was working on. I’m proud to say that I have now “graduated” to playing in a band and my confidence and abilities are a direct reflection of all that I have learned with East Mesa School of Guitar.“

Visiting in town they were still there for me to practice and it still holds the same vibe. Thank you so much and happy holidays!“

“The pandemic left us searching for ways to keep out kids engaged, so we had our son pick up the Ukulele, which he hasn't touched in 2 years. He primarily used an app to start learning chords and rhythm, but that lost its luster fairly quickly. We were referred to Lorin and have been nothing short of amazed at our child's progress. Lorin has made lessons fun and appropriately paces them. His positive style of instruction gives students confidence, while challenging them and keeping them accountable. Lorin is an extremely nice person and effective teacher. I would 100% recommend him.“
