Moncur's was great! A/C went out on my car so I decided to take it to AAA to get diagnosed. They told me since the leak was so small that in order to find it, they wanted to charge me $450 to re-charge my A/C system up with refrigerant & dye, and then come back when the system was empty again so they could find the leak and diagnose what needed to be repaired/replaced. Then they were going to charge me that same price for refrigerant, AGAIN, on top the cost to fix the leak. Seriously? Moncur's found the leak by pressurizing the system overnight with dye and replaced the leaking condenser quickly. This is by far the best experience that I have ever had with a mechanic. Kerry is very approachable and will explain things on a level that you can understand. His prices are fair and affordable. best experience ever.
Highly recommend Moncur’s Automotive!!
A different place told my husband that our car needed the CV axels replaced and that it was a “hazard to drive.” An expensive repair!
He took our car to Moncur’s Automotive to have it looked at.
Kerry helped him out and told him that that there was absolutely nothing wrong with our car, and then would not accept any payment for a diagnostic fee.
