“My boyfriend Derek was recently diagnosed with Meiners Disease this year after his 30th birthday. He has suffered with these terrible symptoms for 3 years on and off. Ringing in his ears, extreme vertigo/dizziness, and vomiting.
Recently the last 4 months have gotten extremely worse and debilitating for him. It was so hard to watch him go through these attacks, sometimes they would last up to 10 hours of vomiting! Derek hasn’t worked in 3 months and he wasn’t able to really even leave the house , up until 2 weeks ago when we had our first appointment with Dr Anthony Montoya.
We have been to several doctors and ENTS and they all said the same thing. “Unfortunately there’s no cure for meiners disease so just take your medication and eat a low sodium diet and thats ALL YOU CAN DO.” Well nothing was helping him and i was not excepting that answer. I started doing all the research I could about Meiners disease. I was at my wits end and needed to get him help !
That’s when I found upper cervical chiropractic and Dr Montoya is #1 in Arizona and specializes in Meiners disease patients.I knew in my gut this was the answer we were looking for! With financial help from family, friends and neighbors we were able to start his treatment.
We have been going for 2 weeks now and since Derek’s first adjustment with Dr Montoya he hasn’t been dizzy at all!! His ear ringing is a lot better and his mood is starting to change for the better. This is a HUGE accomplishment considering Derek was getting dizzy at least once a day for months and having an attack at least once every 2 weeks !
Dr Montoya is so personable and listens to us. Him and Candice have been so kind and helpful through this hard journey. I am beyond grateful and blessed for them. It’s going to be about 7 months of treatment but that is nothing compared to the torture Derek’s had to endure these last few years.

Knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we can get him some relief is INCREDIBLE! I would a thousand percent recommend Dr Anthony Montoya or if your not in Arizona looking into UPPER CERVICAL CHIROPRACTOR if you are experiencing any of these symptoms and especially meiners patients. Dereks finally getting his life back and that wouldn’t have been possible without Dr Montoya. We are very excited for this journey and will be updating after his treatment is complete!“
