“This review is long overdue, as Liz is incredible at what she does and I felt the need to share my experience I've had with her. 6 months ago, I decided to get my first bikini wax and found Liz through Body Essentials Holistic Spa's website. She immediately called me when I made the appointment to ask about my skin and if I had any previous experience with waxes. When I told her I didn't, she took the time to explain what she thought would be best for me and the process/what to expect. This in itself was very kind of her. Once I arrived to my appointment, I filled out some information sheets and was guided back to the room. She gave me the privacy to undress (which I have learned isn't all that common in other salons) and then again talked me through what methods she would use/wax, and to work she went. Through the whole process, she chatted with me and checked in continuously on how I was doing and if I was handling it okay, which I appreciated. To this day, she is the most gentle waxer I have had and the most mindful. I didn't leave with ANY wax residue left over and she offered a product to put on before getting dressed that would help with the redness and prevent ingrown hairs. Not only was her wax a great experience, but she asked me if I had any other skin concerns and I told her that I struggled with acne/redness. She sampled some of the products she sells on my face (completely free) and I ended up purchasing a face wash she recommended for my skin type. It's been 6 months, and I have repurchased this face wash twice because it did so well for my acne. I can seriously never thank her enough for that. Overall, Liz has by far been the best at waxing I have experienced (I have gotten many waxes since by other professionals) and I can not recommend her enough. Great service, friendly attitude, and a passion for what she does.“
