I really want to love this dental office, because it's conveniently located, clean, and I enjoy a lot of the staff. During my first visit, I was seen by a hygienist who recommended over $800 worth of treatment based on what I recognized as questionable periodontal charting. Having prior experience as a dental assistant who got regular cleanings and wasn't behind, I confidently discussed my concerns which made the RDH feel uneasy, the treatment plan was then adjusted, and I was encouraged to follow a quarterly recall schedule. My second visit was with Roxana, who provided excellent care and informed me that my perio chart was within normal limits and decided with Dr. Dindal that a 6 month prophy was appropriate for me.
My primary concern is with scheduling and communication. I had an appointment set for my 6 month mark, which was canceled by the staff a week in advance due to being told that my hygienist was “no longer with the office.” I was then rescheduled for JULY. Today, I called to check my status on their waitlist (which I previously asked to join), and I appreciated Kate’s effort in offering me an available appointment at the end of this month. However, I then received email confirmation showing I was scheduled with the same hygienist I had personally booked with 6 months ago…the one I was told was no longer at the office.
Thinking I was going to have to wait another 4 months for a cleaning is frustrating and feels unfair to existing patients. As a suggestion, it may be helpful to prioritize current patients, not cause them to be overdue on cleanings, and more effectively utilize the waitlist before accepting any new patients, particularly if scheduling capacity is limited. I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration when implementing standards on overall patient care.

I loved the front office staff here. I had such a pleasant experience with the doctors. I have chronic social anxiety , but they made sure I was comfortable during my whole visit. I definitely recommend.
