City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix is a highly-regarded institution that provides exceptional care to its patients. The staff, doctors, and nurses are described as "absolutely wonderful" and "wonderful" in their reviews. Patients appreciate the center's comprehensive approach to treatment, including the use of advanced medical tools and a team of professionals who take the time to listen and care. The doctors are caring and excellent. The check in lady's should have more compassion. When a patient decided to stop the chemotherapy, the way they were treated was extremely poor. No other treatments were offered.
Very nice campus - clean and bright. Easy to navigate and staff are eager to help. Medical personnel are very informative and patient if you have additional questions - in fact they seem to welcome questions. My experience was enlightened and informative.
Everybody there so far is treated me with respect and are very nice to talk to, but I think the biggest problem with this Corporation is they take on too many patients and they are not able to attend to everybody as they should, I have a 4 to 6 weeks wait before I get my biopsy and it's already been at least two weeks and nobody has contacted me to let me know that I'm still cared about, so I am left with wondering if I have cancer or not, if I would have known that they are so understaffed I would have considered other options but I am too involved in this to change, I would recommend others to seek a place that might get to them sooner.
We started our cancer treatments at another facility and after frustrating experiences being treated like a bill, we decided to try City of Hope. It’s been the BEST decision. The people here go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, explain your treatment, and take care of you. Everything is done with care and attention to detail. Cancer diagnoses and treatments are hard enough — why go somewhere that makes it harder? We are so grateful for the team at CoH.
