The Bottom Line

Had last year's taxes prepared at this place. Honestly, thought I was in a great place until afterwards. First of all, the lady was nice but then during the year I had to rely on my tax record and much of the information was missing and I couldn't reach this person. Further, after at least a dozen calls, texts and emails, I looked for someone else only to learn that the original preparer never applied the stepped-up value for depreciation costing me many thousands of unnecessary dollars. Sometimes these prepares aren't what they claim to be.

Kenny Mitchell is a bully who provided us with a condescending and self-righteous lecture on our life choices, rather than file our taxes. Additionally when we told him we were not interested in his unsolicited advice, he asked us to leave. He was visibly upset at us for refusing to bow down to his bully tactics. He was more interested in preaching to us how his choices were the right ones. We used his services last tax year and have decided not to pay someone to bully us anymore. We pay for tax filing services, not to be lectured and bullied.
