About Greenfield Lakes Golf Course
Greenfield Lakes Golf Course is a popular spot in the Gilbert, Arizona golf community. Known for its fantastic 18-hole course, it is often considered the finest par 62 in Maricopa County. The course offers a good mix of challenge and relaxation, making it suitable for both experienced players and beginners. With a combination of challenging par 3s, four par 4s, and two par 5s, it provides an enjoyable experience for all skill levels. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, which helps create a welcoming environment. The course is generally in decent shape, although some areas like the cart paths could use renovation. The driving range is a favorite for many, open until 10 PM with affordable rates and Top Tracers in most bays, along with misters to stay cool during the hot summer days. While the bays' turf is uneven and the mats need replacing, it remains a good place for practice. The driving range is quiet and chill in the mornings, making it perfect for hitting balls. The balls at the range are not the best, and the pricing is reasonable, with a large bucket costing $18. The staff at the range tend to be young but helpful overall. Guests have played the course as beginners or intermediate players, finding it fun and suitable for practice. The greens may sometimes be slower, possibly due to reseeding, but the fairways are in good shape. The course is a great place for those new to golf, especially since it is an executive par-62 course, which still offers a challenge. The cart girls and marshal frequently check on players, ensuring pace of play stays steady. Overall, Greenfield Lakes remains a welcoming destination for golf enthusiasts looking for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
I have been playing regularly on Tuesday. Foursomes are evenly released and very seldom have we had any waiting. Greens are challenging and fun. Great round of golf for the price!!
