My gf & I went in last night for bad cat scratches & bites. To the point where there was a bunch of deep gashes on her arm, deep scratches, and nonstop bleeding for 2+ hours. completely understandable that you can't do much for this stuff or wrap it for a long period of time but they didn't even help clean the blood or helped it stop bleeding. When we got home we had to do their job I get you're teaching kiddos how to become nurses but you're supposed to actually act like a doctor for them to follow your lead... $600+ later for the doctor to put both hands behind his back, peek over at the scratches & bites and said "not much for us to do" then dipped. Do better. Ladies up front though were super friendly & actually wrapped her wounds up to stop the bleeding... that the doctor later proceeded to complain about lmao.

I'm here now and the service is horrible. The nurse came in and didn't even introduce himself. The dr is dismissive and didn't even try to understand my daughters pain. Not happy at all. No kindness or empathy. I had banner gateway on a pedestal and now I do not. So disappointed

We took my daughter in the ER in March. We were treated like we were overreacting and had to push for tests. Despite my daughter having asthma, and breathing issues upon check in, they made her stand up and hold her breath for a chest x-ray. She passed out and hit her head while falling down. Afterwards we heard staff laughing about it. My daughter had pneumonia, which would have gone undiagnosed if we hadn't pushed to be taken seriously. This, combined with issues at other Banner facilities, has pushed us to make the decision to receive care at literally any other facility. You are not treated like a human at Banner, but rather an inconvenience and a number. This is systemic through all Banner facilities we have been to. I would give zero stars if I could. Shame on you, Banner.

I would give zero stars if I could. Never ever ever go to this hospital for an emergency. The ER nurses have no clue. My husband was burned badly we rushed him to this ER. One staff member mentioned it was a chemical burn they should put him in trama due to it being a battery related burn. All other staff members disagreed said it wasn't that bad. All they did was clean it with saline and sent us home. My husband then broke out in a rash all over from chemical burn he experienced. Went to the dr and he was shocked to find out that the hospital did not give him any antibiotics, didn't give him IV make sure he was hydrated, didn't do anything but clean it with saline. Our dr referred us to a wound clinic also by Banner. Why didn't the hospital refer us in the first place? Our dr was very shocked by the treatment we received in ER. We will never be back and will be taking next steps.

I just had my baby here, I had to spend 13 days in the labor and delivery section. I can not say enough amazing things about the staff here. I was admitted with severe preeclampsia and so bummed out because I got admitted 2 days before my baby shower. Traci one of the best nurses I've ever encountered made it so we could have the shower at the hospital!!! It was so amazing. Then when it was time to start the induction I was so scared Carl was my nurse for the beginning and the epidural and he was so compassionate and wonderful! He knew I was scared and walked me through the whole thing. Our baby was taken to the NICU and I can't tell you how hard that was for me. Every single nurse in the NICU is absolutely incredible and treats my baby as if he were theirs. Especially Stephanie she is a literal angel. I couldn't get to the NICU as much as I wanted because of my own condition but I rest assured those nurses were taking the best care of my little guy. They are also incredibly knowledgeable and make parents so included in all of the care. I can't say enough great things about the staff in this unit. They made a really tough situation amazing and we get to bring our little guy home soon!

I went to see Dr Toph several times and all but once, I was in quickly and had no issues with service at all! It is a very clean facility with well mannered and friendly staff. I couldn't recommend it enough and even the one time I didn't get in quickly, it wasn't ridiculously busy and I was also extra early

This place has zero morals when it comes to staffing and patient safety. My wife was a nurse who floated to multiple floors, and every single one was unsafe. They used her by calling her off once a week but maintained the unsafe ratios. If it's this hard on the staff, I can't imagine your loved one's are treated any better as patients.

I would venture to guess that 99% of these reviews are written by people sitting in the waiting room, like myself. It's a very small room- size of a one car garage and it has 9 chairs. It's currently packed. People standing. Not a single person has been called back in the hour I've been here. It's dead silent and awkward as Hell. I asked the receptionist how long the wait is and she said she can't disclose that! Is it top secret or something? People should at least have a time frame so they can be aware of any time conflicts. I'm very tempted to leave, but need to have this test for employment purposes. At this rate, might be here 4 or 5 hours.
