My mare had arthritis in her right front pastern joint. She would get short term relief with steroid injection followed by gel injections. She was partially bone on bone in the joint. I interviewed several surgeons before selecting Dr Howard at Az equine!!I could not be happier with my choice!! My mate had surgery today for arthrodesis of the pastern joint. His entire staff makes you feel welcome and explain procedures prior to and after the surgery. Dr Howard spent time answering my email questions as wellAs meeting with me at my request prior to the surgery. I have nothing but great things to say about AZ Equine. The office staff and doctors, especially Dr. Holden, have been wonderful to work with - they come out when you need them, don't try to push unnecessary services, and make sure you understand the treatment plan/recommendations. You can tell they truly care about your animals. I'm so grateful for all their help!
