“Dr. Koshuta is a very knowledgeable eye doctor. Friendly and approachable, and he will even refer you to others when he can't fullfil your needs. Example: I was looking at Lasik surgery, and he did not provide it. But he recommended a local eye surgeon in town, and even set up the appointment for me. One downside is that his eyeglasses are pretyt expensive (frames and lenses) when compared to discount centers such as Sam's Club and even Lens Crafters. This issue is pretty typical for eye-doctor-based eye-wear offerings, so I don't hold it against him.“

“My wife and I (a retired physician) were on a trip from Boulder, Colorado, passing through Santa Fe, Flagstaff, and ending up in the Grand Canyon. I suddenly had a bunch of "black lines" in my left eye. I was very concerned and called Dr. Mahanti's office. The receptionist who made our appointment was so considerate and understanding of our anxiety. They squeezed me in as we were passing through Flagstaff for an emergency visit. We were so grateful to be seen and the doctor and his staff was so thorough that I had tremendous confidence in what he told me. He basically described a condition that gave me these "floaters" but that I did not have a retina tear, and that I could continue safely on my trip. How reassuring in the middle of a trip so far from our home in New York. If we lived in Flagstaff, he would certainly become my ophthalmologist.“
