Word on the street (Phoenix pet people) is that Dr Mac is amazing with dogs but slightly less so with cats. He diagnosed our cat with constipation, sent her home with just the invoice/receipt but no notes, and didn't do the blood test that quite easily identified diabetes until $800 and about 30 hours later. :( They very nicely called ahead to a pet hospital in Phoenix, as she needed critical care but that vet was in GILBERT and is the best but Most Expensive in the valley! Do NOT feel bad about going to a closer place instead that is more affordable. Got us in right away for an emergency visit and we weren't even established clients there. Employees compassionate, fare rates.
