I too have been scammed by this office! seen in March this year and was told they would call that afternoon to schedule a cleaning, never got a call, they don't return calls or emails and no sign on the door to explain what's going on! I have reported them to my insurance carrier for fraudulent billing!!!

I really tried to give this business the benefit of the doubt. With COVID, I know that staffing is a challenge, so I was happy to roll with multiple cancellations and rescheduling for my appointment. I also appreciate how kind and sympathetic the receptionist was, But at this point, my patience has run out and I advise everyone to avoid this place....if it is even still in operation, of which I am doubtful (although they are still diligent about sending me a bill for services that are covered by insurance).I didn't know that Dr. Long (who was fantastic) had moved on, so I was looked after by Dr. Goff. The first problem I encountered was that after my routine cleaning, it almost felt, at times, like my gums were being burned. And the following day, my gums were very red, irritated, and sensitive (to the point that it was uncomfortable to eat). This condition persisted for about a week. I did read that apparently, according to some dentists, this is a good sign as it is indicative of very thorough cleaning. Regardless, I'd never had this happen after a routine cleaning, but the condition improved so, all is well, I suppose. The current problem is my bill. I went in for a routine check-up and cleaning, which is fully covered by my insurance. However, Cottonwood Smiles continue to message me saying that I owe a balance. They billed the wrong insurance and although I provided the accurate insurance information again, I continue to receive messages that I owe a balance. Unfortunately, calls and inquiries are routed to a 3rd party answering service, who take the information and pass it on. I feel sorry for them because they take thorough information. I still sympathize with the business, but someone over there has to get it together and look after their patients.

Dishonest. Unprofessional. Run, don't walk away from this Dentist office.Dentist left half way through my treatment plan and I was left with temporaries for months. This caused great pain and no other dentist was willing to pick up where this dentist left off. I had to start over at great pain and expense to me. I took my bill into them and reminded them they didn't finish the work and I had to pay again somewhere else. Beth told me she would cancel the remaining balance since they did not do the work and I had to pay more somewhere else. 3 months later I started receiving bills again and no one will return calls to discuss. I mailed copies of everything again and asked them to call me many times. They are never in the office and the doors are locked. They sent my bill to collections for work they never completed.

This business is closed. After jacking around clients for several months they won't keep appointments or return phone calls. The doors have been closed fir weeks. All their clients are fleeing to other local dentists and you can't get your records.

They let me go a week with an abscess infection in my cheek. And when i finally get a hold of someone it seemed like they couldnt be bothered cause they were on a lunch break. I got no apology after they let my infection go for 5 days. Which it did get worse and and effect my week. Granted i could of gone to the er for them to give me the antibiotics. But i didnt want to spend more money on a copay. So i stuck it out. But again how they handled it was beyond insane. Dodging my calls and actimg like i was bothering them after they neglecteing me for 5 days with a serious infection. They could definitly be sued for this treatment. I would not ever ever ever go back here and no one else should either.

Terrible customer service. My husband scheduled an appointment with them, and they didn’t even show up. He call, left a message, but they didn’t even return his call. This is not professional behavior.

Dr Hooper was a nice person, however, he did 2 crowns for me and I’m still in pain. When I called to schedule a follow up to have this addressed, I just learned he sold the practice after just 2 months here in Cottonwood, he’s already gone and is moving to Prescott, so I’m out of luck! The Dr that bought the practice doesn’t take over for a month, so Dr Hooper clearly doesn’t care about his patients. I don’t recommend Dr Hooper. Also, an issue with Cottonwood Smiles, is that over the last 2 months I called after hours and left messages on 3 occasions and not once did they return my call, even when one was submitted as urgent because I was in pain and I was told the message was going directly to the on call persons cell phone. Prior to Dr Hooper taking over this practice, Jana Long did the same thing, just left with no notice to patients and no dentist to take over.
