Dr Adams was very caring and knowledgeable in most areas. We had a great doctor/patient relationship. Unfortunately, a failure on her part to communicate the purpose of a particular visit has left me with a $350 bill for something clearly covered by Medicare. As a breast cancer survivor, I requested the Medicare allowed Women's Wellness Exam which Dr Adams agreed to and performed during our visit. But, when it went to billing, it was somehow miscoded as something else and completely denied by Medicare. I asked for a coding review with Banner Financial and spoke with Dr Adams who assured me she would get it corrected. I just recently received another bill for the $350. When I called Banner Financial, I was told the review was completed and Dr Adams apparently used the same wrong explanation which merely verified the incorrect coding. So now I'm stuck with paying a bill resulting from someone else's mistake. My complaint is more about the Banner Medical system than any particular clinician. But unfortunately someone needs to take responsibility.

I'm sure their doctor's are probably fine but their facility management needs to look at their clinics parking lot at night (1811 E McMurray BLVD). They installed a 'million' candle watt flood light to light up their parking lot. But it's installed on the roof and is pointed right at all the residential homes across McMurray. It is obnoxiously bright and unnecessary after the office is closed. I'm not sure how this light is exempt from the Casa Grande artificial lighting nuisance ordinance. But I would ask Banner to put it on a timer or relocate it so it's not beaming into my mothers bedroom while she's trying to sleep.
