Ciavana owes me nothing. This was an amazing solo trip. From the greeting as you pull up, to the warm smiles. Ciavana definitely met all of my reset needs, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I feel revived and ready to finish the year strong.

My stay at civana was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. My shuttle driver from the airport was welcoming and informative about the area and the resort. When we arrived to check in, the front desk and bellmen were quick and efficient in getting us settled and extremely kind and helpful! My guide eleonora was in the lobby to welcome us as we arrived. She was beyond outstanding! She made every moment of my stay incredible. From her Radient energy to her electrifying classes, she created a 10/10 experience! If you haven’t met her yet, you are missing out!!!!

We stayed at Civana in August — yes, it was hot, but the entire experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by peace, intention, and beauty. The property is stunning, the desert landscape is magical, and everything is designed to help you slow down and reconnect.
The rooms are gorgeous and calming — a true retreat. We loved all the wellness classes and workshops, from yoga and sound baths to guided hikes and breathwork. The spa was a dream. Every treatment we experienced was nurturing and grounding.
The staff were kind, warm, and genuinely attentive. The food? Fresh, delicious, plant-forward, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything about this place supports wellness in the most graceful, welcoming way.
We also explored nearby — Carefree Desert Gardens, Cave Creek, horseback riding at MacDonald’s Ranch, and the beautiful trails at Spur Cross Ranch. There’s so much to see and do just beyond the resort if you want to mix in a little adventure.
We left feeling refreshed, clear, and already dreaming about coming back. Civana is truly a special place — a sanctuary for anyone looking to reset, restore, and reconnect with themselves.

Beautiful resort! As a yogi the buffet:-) of different classes offered is to die for. I was disappointed with the check-in process, where I wasn't provided with essential information about my stay, including room rates and available programs. Despite being promised a call to verify the final billing, I had to send a follow up email, which wasn't the experience I was looking for. Improving communication among your team would likely enhance the overall experience for guests like myself who were left feeling anxious rather than serene. Some of the employees are not fond of black people. Just not what I expected at all!

The vibe, service, and energy were amazing. If you’d like to rest and take care of your body and mind, you’ll not be disappointed. The property and classes were the highlights of my stay. I did some spa treatments and massages - they were decent as well.

If you are looking for a beautiful resort to escape and just relax and reset, CIVANA is the place. I’m so glad that I came here. From the classes, to the staff, and food…it was all amazing!!! The rooms are large and very clean. The staff is so attentive. Do yourself a favor and book you a weekend getaway. You won’t regret. Invest in yourself!
