If you are ever in the need to getaway for a few days, then Civanna is definitely the place to go! The service from check in to check out is incredible. I went in with the intention of trying new things and I was not disappointed. I loved the reiki and the thai floor massage and the magnesium massage. The food was delicious and the yoga was just what I needed. Run don't walk!
This place is amazing - it's an oasis of wellness and relaxation in a beautiful desert setting. I enjoyed every minute of my stay from the time I got out of the taxi and was greeted by their welcoming staff to the moment I checked out. The free class schedule provides a well-rounded mix of physical and wellbeing classes with something for everyone - and the instructors are all fantastic! Nice resort, but no Miraval. (First world problems, here!)We discovered CIVANA on a Google search for a girlfriend getaway. Overall, very nice, beautiful and great spa. Definitely a great resort and incredible landscape. The experience was definitely nice, but I think I may have been spoiled by going to Miraval. The spa was beautiful but the services weren't quite 5 star. The hotel rooms were underwhelming, and the walls were really thin - thankfully I went during a slow time in November, so it wasn't too loud, but I could hear every person walking by and talking.
