These people really care about your pet. They spend more time taking care of our dog than our doctors spend with us. Their work is very specialized and there is a reason it is expensive. Each time we have gone in they have spent at least an hour explaining the issues our dog is facing. Can't say enough good things about them.
I’ve been going to D4A for several years for cat with stubborn skin allergies. They are always friendly and easy to communicate with. Dr Lockwood genuinely cares for my cat. She takes the time to explain to me. She is up-to-date on the science and is able to suggest new approaches. Can’t recommend them enough.
In October 2024, we visited Dr. Lockwood at Dermatology for Animals in Goodyear, bringing in our 2½-year-old Bernedoodle, Joule, in search of a diagnosis for her alarming hair loss and dry, flaky skin. Our regular vet had been unable to determine what was wrong and referred us to this practice.
Dr. Lockwood sat down on the floor with Joule, examined her thoroughly, and calmly walked me through everything she was doing. After the exam, she shared her suspicion that Joule was suffering from an autoimmune disease called sebaceous adenitis.
