I interviewed several well-known companies when considering home health for my mom. Home Instead in my opinion stood out amongst the others from the quality of care she would receive, the hours/days I needed them. They also recommended a Surviving VA Spouse program which allowed mom to get more income to help pay for the resources.
The aide was always on time and never missed a day. She was instrumental in getting my mom back on a regular shower schedule as mom has Alzheimer’s and dementia and is a little afraid of water.
I highly recommend them – they are a compassionate caring company.
I am so thankful for Home Instead. For over +10 years I’ve helped families with care for their loved ones specializing in Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinsons and Hospice end of life care. I thank God I was able to care for my mom and be with her while she was in hospice. But I know not all families are able and so for this company I am thankful! The love and support I was able to give my mom, I give to others and their families. I took a break and was hesitant to get back in the field after my mama passed, but was reminded why I do what I do with Home Instead so it’s really personal to me.
