I just moved my mother into Hampton Place and after the first two weeks I can say it was a great decision. The staff is wonderful, very encouraging, polite, and is genuinely interested in her well being and comfort. I’ve been up there every other day and other than a few start up issues it’s been smooth sailing. The food is very good and not what I expected. So far there haven’t been any repeats and it’s far better than the generic hospital food. She’s still very active so her nurse (Susan) went out of her way to make sure she met those that were still mobile and active and liked to play cards. The facility is clean and welcoming, and our family feels at ease knowing she is in good hands. She enjoys having a private room and has lots of friends that she goes to activities and meals with. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for short term rehab or long term care.
