I came out here at the end of 2001 from L.A. yes I had the"culture shock"syndrome big time. Too quiet had to rent Bruce Willis movies just to get some sleep! Seriously!! I got to know the people of Pea Ridge and that includes the PRPD they were all human, some just wore a badge! I have never met a Mayor before I came here!or the chief of police! I don't know the new chief, the last one also rode a motorcycle!! Today I met one of the officers (he pulled me over on my lawnmower! ) Officer Olson and I was surprised to learn that it was illegal to ride my lawnmower on city streets now! But I still like it here. I just loved the small town feel that Pea Ridge used to have!!!! Go Black Hawks! And go Razor Back's!! (Unless they go against U.S.C.!!!!!!
