About Burns Park Golf Course
Burns Park Golf Course offers an affordable and rewarding golfing experience. The championship course is well-maintained, with great greens that play fast. The driving range is good, and the course is known for being friendly and helpful. The scenic trail around the park is perfect for peaceful walks, with the chance to spot wildlife like deer. This hidden gem in Arkansas provides enjoyment for both golfers and families, with something for everyone to enjoy. The tournament course is short and to the point, making it a good challenge for golfers. With great prices for green fees and cart rentals, Burns Park is a go-to place for an early morning 9 or 18 holes. Joe Ralston is an excellent golf instructor for those in need of lessons.
This course has 36 holes of golf, right by the Arkansas River. I tend to play the Tournament course, which was built in the early’60’s. The front nine is mostly flat with a few challenging tree lined holes bordered by water. The back nine is very pretty and hilly at first, then finishes with some flatter holes. Fairway woods will get a workout on this course.
Greens are in great shape!
