Love the folks at Nixon Animal Hospital.. they are so good with my old girl.. The new veterinarian Ms. Josie was wonderful to me and my fur baby. Answered my questions and then some...

We're new to the area, but have loved Dr Nixon and the staff from the start. They are very caring and compassionate, and are great with our senior dogs. Before we moved here, we were visiting Mtn View from out of state and our sweet Molly's health declined quickly. Dr Nixon got us in at a moment's notice when the time came to say goodbye to her. We weren't clients of his yet and we were so far from home, but he helped us without hesitation.

I took my puppy and had his ears clipped was very disappointed when I picked the puppy up in the Cut. I had them clipped on a Monday the following Monday I noticed that the puppy was very irritated, and I gave him a bath and was cleaning his ears and found a cotton ball full of old blood still left in his ear. I don’t even think the vet is the one that clipped his ears. I never spoke to a vet, I seen him the day. I picked him up, but never spoke to him. Did not give the puppy anabiotic‘s. I have other dogs that have had cropped ears, and they received an anabiotic‘s. Unfortunately that vet is not doing surgeries anymore and this guy was recommended and come to find out. He’s not even the one that did it Now my puppy is miserable and I remove the stitches myself. I will not take my bicycle to this place to be worked on do not get your dogs ears clipped at this vets.

Vet is Very knowledgeable...my issue is the pets that run loose in there that belong to the techs I assume...cats and at least 1 dog running loose around your dog or cat, etc ...I'm surprised that there hasn't been some issues there because of that. If you have a cat aggressive dog put it in a crate or keep a tight rein on it..
