“In response to one of the post on here by James H. regarding UC Ozark Realty as the listing agent. My brokerage UC Diamond G Realty had the buyers side of this transaction. Our buyers were frustrated, but let me clarify.
1) Commission % paid by the seller is actually determined when the seller signs the listing agreement. If the buyer's agent is not compensated to their needs, they can ask the buyer to pay based on the Buyers Agreement. This has nothing to do with how much the listing agent is getting paid.
2) The sellers thought they were doing the buyers a favor by patching the holes from the wall hangings by using the original paint to paint over. The paint was obviously either old or the walls may have faded, causing the match not to be exact.
3) UC Ozark Realty actually DID pay the buyers $1,000 outside of closing in the spirit of making the buyers satisfied.
At UC Diamond G we often work closely with UC Ozark Realty and have never had anything but good to say.
