I visit a couple dozen different Jiu Jitsu gyms every year. This is a great place to train. The instructor and students are welcoming and friendly with a focus on technique and community. Clean mats. Lots of parking. Highly recommend!

When I was considering rolling at Westside Chenal, I was apprehensive because I'm a physician and business owner and I cannot get hurt.
Chenal stands out to me because the coaches do a great job of removing fear of injury by keeping a strong culture of get after it with control and respect. That filters down to the members. The coaches know how to run a room where people with careers and responsibilities can train hard without unnecessary risk.
But don't let that fool you, Bruno is one of the best. He and his team prepare high level competitors for their endeavors as well.
I’ve trained Jiu Jitsu at gyms all around the world, and I can honestly say this place stands out. The mats are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen, the environment is welcoming, and the people are genuinely nice. Every class is structured and technical, with attention to detail that makes a real difference. As a brown belt, I appreciate how the instruction challenges me while still being accessible for all levels. Great vibes, great training, and definitely a gym I’ll keep coming back to.
