Well this is my last time going to this shop. I got boho small knotless braids waist length. Asked her the first time how much it’ll cost she said$350. Ok cool. The day I’m suppose to get my hair done$350 and up🤔. I’ll give you $350 like you said. She agreed. So i had to buy my own hair 4bundles of human hair. I walk in the shop,hand her my hair and she starts laughing🤔 What I miss. So she looks at me and say it cost more? How? I sent you a picture of how I wanted my hair and the length.$350 it is. So I got there at 12:45pm left at 11:47pm July 11,3025. Here it is July 17th. I’m shedding like a dog,two and a half bundles done came out and I’m very gentle with my hair. Not only that I have medium and small braids. Majority of the braids look a mess. Not only that a lady got the same hair style as me, charged her $334🤔they went up on her price while doing her hair but mine $350🤔. Told another lady three different prices like what’s really going on. Never again. One thing about me I want my stuff done right especially for $350. NNEEVVVEERRR AGAIN

Went in for a service to get goddess locs took down and she cut two of my real locs. I noticed when I got home that she left some of the locs in my hair

Left a review saying I loved my micros before I checked the inside of my braid. I’m really upset because I voiced to Ms. Mimi NOT to make my inside braid big before she even started on my head and she said she doesn’t do that, I should have checked the inside before I left. $200 plus a huge tip. This has me sick to my stomach.

DO NOT GO HERE. The lady doing my hair was on her phone, not paying attention. I was getting my braids taking down, as I'm 19, and she would NOT brush out the knots in my hair, saying she won't do it and we argued. She said other braiding stores don't do it either, which is a lie, because Matou, down the road on university does. And she told me to get up and do my OWN hair, because she kept brushing. Not combing, my knotted hair. Which didn't do anything. I told her that I'm paying for HER service and if I have to do my own knots, I'm taking 10$ back. FYI, she said I had too many braids, and she raised the price from $50-$60. Which is why I said I'd take $10 back.

I love mimi aka aunty she gets me right everytime! When i don't do my own braids Black image is the only salon I go to frfr!!! And my new friend esha oh she fast with her hands she came in a hour after I did and got her client out the way and she got long box braids honey Black image is the truth!!!

The ladies here do excellent work. They do braid tight unless you state otherwise. I'm tenderheaded and she listens when I say don't braid too tight. I come here every month to get corn rows sometimes with some color braided in others not. There is truck parking next door for those wondering

If I could give them zero Stars I would. These people are so unprofessional. Walked in and did not wash their hands before starting my hair. There was a comb on the floor in one of the stylists picked the comb up off the floor to do my hair. They are unsanitary. Complained about my hair and it's natural condition, wanted to tell me what hairstyle was best for me rather than the picture I showed them. The stylists got mad when I questioned the style that she was giving me. Any African braiding shop that can get you in on a same day appointment should be a red flag. Good shops are booked a week out. Please find another shop to use you will be highly disappointed. I had an appointment that morning for my child to get her hair braided and they bumped me so that another person could could get a more expensive style done. And did not wash their hands after getting done with the client before me.

Mimi lies about what hair she uses. Smacks & coughs on you without covering her mouth. Your scalp will itch for about 2 weeks. I wish Lala & Ayisha come back.

I absolutely love this shop!! I love my hair every time I visit!!! Amazing work, my braids are always neat and the compliments are none stop!! I highly recommend visiting this shop for your braids and twist, you will not be disappointed!!! ♥️♥️♥️

This is my first time receiving service it will be my last time. I explained exactly what I wanted individual crochet faux loc, I sent a video before I made my appointment to show exactly how I wanted my hair. Its evidence that was dismiss. The person braiding my hair never introduce herself. Her braiding skills were so elementary. After she finish I look in the mirror, the lighting wasn't great I couldn't get a detail look. When I got home and flip on my bright lights, I was so shocked!! This was not a professional job, it was terrible unpolished. Each loc had bulky knot in the middle, the hair they wrap my hair with was unraveling no trimming, hair strands sticking out. It was rush and extremely sloppy! I did call to voice my concern, They wasn't caring, not a apology , not one word not offering any kind of compensations. I basically donated $160. I count that as a lost. Thats why im writing this review. This is my first review on a social standpoint, something I dislike to do. It needed to told. I do not recommend this place for individual crochet faux loc.
