This is more of a response to minister Iva Lehman D. I was going to just get on and give a review but seeing that one I feel I need to respond. She has already been called out on next door by another customer about her attitude. I was Dr Bilby's next appointment and already being put in the exam room when this lady came in and was yelling at everyone. I was being put in the exam room at about my appointment time, maybe 3-4 minutes early. She was not just 8 minutes late. The receptionist did a great job. I left the door open to listen to the crazy. I wish I had recorded it so I could show everyone on here. I have been to many vets over my life. I love Waggin wheel and wouldn't go anywhere else anymore. To the reviews saying that the phones were awful, yes they kind of are, but my entire 30 minute appointment the phone barely stopped ringing. They seemed to be doing their best. I think they are hard to get into because they are so good. But hey hopefully if these crazy, aggressive, angry people leave there will be more care for the good people in the village and their pets! And to the lady's comment that her doctor wouldn't do this, that is complete bs. I worked in the medical field for decades. If you are not early and done with your paperwork by your appointment time you will likely be turned away. If we were slammed and you weren't ready that's tough luck. The problem with customer service nowadays is the entitled customers. Customers aren't always right. My mothers name is Karen so I don't like that term, but that is the description of so many people nowadays. Sorry, rant over. Waggin Wheel is amazing. They have taken great care of my healthy and my sick. And they have been amazing when it has been the worst times for my loved pets.

Had a 12 year old Rot/Shephard mix who had developed hip dysplasia and became paralyzed over time. Respiratory issues set in quickly over a two day period and was in need of euthanasia. When called and asked about performing this, call went straight to voicemail...message never returned after making three attempts...during normal business hours.

I have been going to this dog clinic for 20 Years at Waggin Wheel Vet on Hwy 7 with all my pets. Today I was eight minutes late and they were not busy and the girl at the counter was kirt and rude and had to get permission to see her. My own Doctor doesn't do this. And I then to see my dog he commanded that I apologize to his rude employees as a tech lied about my actions to the owner and then said being an employee she taking care of her coworkers. I have owned two restaurants in the village and this place has gotten to big for their britches. Pride has a very hard fall. Let me add to this. I called last week after a text trying to make this appointment and no confirmation. This has happened twice. I called and left messages and my phone number to set the appointment. Never have I gotten a phone call back. So I finally got a hold of someone last week and she said I was late for her shots and I replied, I called and left messages and you never ever call me back. And she said well you should have made the follow up appointment before you left the first visit. As she stumbled for her words. What?! I thought that was their job. Owners you need to to put a camera up and record your front staff and your employees should never be correcting and protecting their coworkers, because they are not in management. I love Mrs Billby and I will miss her. She is amazing, but she wasn't there today her husband was. Wow! I'm really can't believe what is happening to customer service?

I am heartbroken after 20+ years of being a loyal customer at Waggin wheel vet clinic on hwy 7 N, and never being late and patiently waited numerous time, because I know things come up, I arrived 16 minutes late to my appointment with my large dog that is very traumatic for him to even get in a vehicle and even though I was allotted a 20 minute visit for a yearly check up, they would not see my dog. I told them it was very traumatic for my dog to even get in a vehicle and I would wait all afternoon, Dr Bilby would not see my dog. I even asked to speak to Dr Bilby and after 20+ years of loyal service to her, she would not even take 60 seconds out of her day to see me even though I have waited on numerous occasions when I brought my dog or my cat in to see her . I am just heartbroken and if the vet does not care anymore than that, about a client or a dog, then it's time for me to find a new vet that does. I even called the vets office as I was driving to let them know I might be a few minutes late and no one answered the phone. I called back five minutes later and got the office and told him I would be there within five minutes. As I was walking in the door, The office was calling me to tell me they would not see my dog and that I would have to reschedule. Their webpage says that they will do their best to accommodate your busy schedule, but they let 16 minutes of a delay break a 20 year customer /client relationship because I did not want to traumatize my dog anymore. I offered to stay and just be fitted in, but was told no again. I know a vets time is valuable, but shouldn't my time be considered also??And the effect of travel on my dog???i. Their website says they are accepting new customers but if a schedule is that tight, customer beware....

I Have lived here over 16 years. A friend and fellow veterinarian referred us to Waggin Wheel when we first moved here. We we're looking for a trust worthy veterinarian. At the time we had a very old Newfoundland dog. They helped me take care of Bear through the last of his years and when he peacefully passed in my arms with great empathy and emotional support. They continue to be our vet and take care of our 10+ year old GSD Axle. I have heard positive and negative comments and stories about veterinarIans all around the Village. Vets will make mistakes. They are human. I see the same faces every Time I go in and they are nice and welcoming. Axle is very anxious when we go to the Vet and they are always very calm, patient, and understanding when he is stressing out and never get angry with him. They listen to my concerns and work to get to the bottom of what issues my dog may have, PJ Skubish.

I was a customer of 18 years, and my 13 year old fur baby Lola was hit by a car and passed away and I took her to Waggin Wheel to be cremated and they put her in their freezer “out back” and left her there for six weeks basically forgetting about her, even though someone went into that freezer up to ten times a week and just ignored her little body.when I went to find out why I hadn’t gotten her ashes back the girl at the front desk told me Lola was “on hold”. They were heartless and broke my heart again just thinking of her lying there so long. And when I asked to speak to the owner, Dr Bilby she didn’t even have the guts to see me or apologize.
