I went in just for chiropractic care now I’m getting their full service treatment and after just a couple of months, everything seems to be falling into place and I feel a lot better than just chiropractic care

I have been to a few other chiropractors before and since my experience at Thrive and I have to say, this was not the place for me. As soon as I walked in, it felt like a gym with lots of workout-type equipment and many things going on at once. The space is very public and adjustments are done in front of everyone, which was much different than other chiropractors I've been to.
Before working with Dr. Alex, they put me with someone else on their staff to do some exercises. He was not knowledgable about what he was doing and it was all experimental as we went along. As someone coming in in pain, this made me hesitant to try the things he had me do because I was worried it could possibly make things worse.
Dr. Alex was kind and would answer my questions when I asked, but for my first time coming in, he did some very intense adjustments on me when I was clearly uncomfortable/unsure about what was happening. I didn't ask him to stop, but in hindsight, I wish he would have taken more time to explain what he was doing and why, or started off with gentler treatment and worked his way up as I became more comfortable. He was also not very sanitary when sticking his finger in my mouth to adjust my jaw. He put on a single finger glove but didn't wash/sanitize his hands when putting it on/removing. The fact that this was all done in the middle of the room and I could see strangers staring at me just added to my unease.
I sought this place out specifically for help with TMJ, since it's one of the things they specialize in. Though Dr. Alex put together a plan of things he wanted to try to see if they would help me, he said he couldn't identify a root cause for what was making it flare up, which left me doubtful that the plan he put together would actually resolve my issue.
I also felt a little deceived by the way they do their pricing. The initial visit was $50 for X-rays, consultation and an adjustment, but when he put together a care plan for me, the cost per visit came out to $118 WITH insurance ($232/visit without insurance). They offer a 25% discount for one-time payment but it was still quite steep.
Bottom line: Try this place out if you want, and if you vibe with it, great! If not, know there are plenty of other options in town!

I went to Thrive with lower back pain, hip issues and shoulder/neck pain. After a few weeks of seeing Doctor Alex my lower back, hips and shoulder pain has dramatically decreased. All the staff is super professional and friendly from the front desk Liz and Mellisa, the PT instructor Phillip and both Doctors Ben and Alex.

5 stars is an understatement! Thrive Wellness Center has proven its expertise and commitment to providing health and wellness in my life over the past 7 years. My review is well over due for proclaiming this establishment as the one and only chiropractic care I would recommend in the NWAR community. From the care I received in my 3rd pregnancy (7 years ago), to the heartfelt support of my head on collision 16 months ago, to the 4th, 5th & 6th prenatal care of my other pregnancies in between an after the car accident, I have been restored and supported to become my best self for my family. THANK YOU to the whole team at Thrive Wellness Center; you have been monumental in my health journey.

Thrive Wellness is like the Crunch Fitness but for adjustments!! They literally have every tool and resource on hand, staff that serves you so well you’d think you were at a 5 Star Spa. Dr. Ben, Lora, Liz, and everybody are amazing, thanks team!!
