Ol’ Eric is The Man! A fine haircut is just a bonus! Eric is opinionated and impolitic. A crusty ol’ bastard who stomps around in cowboy boots and gives you his idiosyncratic opinion as he roars with laughter. Might be a bit raw for the new on campus, but an institution as much calling the hogs. He owns a lot of property in the area, so if you like the idea of getting your hair cut by an eccentric millionaire, stop by and check him out.

Bring a sense of humor and open mind. These people are real in a town of entitled youth and may come off a little rough to the thin skins. Started getting haircuts there in about 2009 while getting educated. Eric likes to give his own type of test to newcomers. Recently as I return for visits and the occasional haircut I notice some stragglers afterward but generally good. Seen older women there in the past but I could imagine why the place throws younger belles for a loop. The items are gifts and that man doesn't need your $. As far as old kooks go, he's a good one.

I got one of the worst haircuts of my life from Eric Lloyd. I am new in town and I needed a haircut. I like the place, it looks like a vintage shop with pop culture paraphernalia throughout. And let me say this also, I love Eric's personal style, with his cowboy boots, jean, and a tweed jacket over his unbuttoned western shirt, white hair and beard. The shop has free parking on the side of the building, Lloyd was sitting on his bench smoking a cigar when I arrived for my 3:30 appointment. I was amused by Lloyd, I can stand to listen to him pontificate for about a haircuts length of time, he seems to have been around Fayetteville for a while and has plenty to say about everything. The haircut itself was terrible, he combed all the hair straight down and cut it like a bowl cut, and on the sides and back he did some clipper over comb with the Wahl Peanut and left it uneven with some stray pieces longer on the bottom, then he twisted my head around to layer the top. It felt like it was longer on the sided than on top. I ended up gong to the Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School to have them fix it. If you have $14.95 so spare for a bad haircut I would say go for it a do it once for the experience with a pontificating, geriatric, talentless hairdresser. Do it so you can say you've done it, then go find a real hairdresser or barber to fix you up.
