I’m an out-of-state proud member of the Lion’s Den. It has beautiful views, challenging fairways, friendly staff, John Daly merch in pro shop as well as his personal clubs players can check out. Just an all-around relaxing round of golf. Greens are well maintained; rolled out and fast. I used clubs here I haven’t pulled out of the bag in a while. Even the cart path is enjoyable winding through the hills. I envy golfers living close to here, I’d be there every day.
One of the funnest courses I've played hands down. Has a driving range right between the clubhouse and hole 1. Very relaxed setting for a very challenging course. It's got a few holes that you will be glad you got to workout your aim with the range at the start. I'm very excited to go back since I seen the course got some upgrades recently. From the times my group has been, The staff were good people and very accommodating. Be prepared to loose a few balls if you're not hitting very well, but on the flip side of that,be prepared to find a bunch of balls if you go looking for yours. lol. If it was even 5 miles closer to me I'd probably get a membership, and still may one day since it's fairly affordable.
