What a great experience! The Maumelle dentist said I needed two crowns ("it could be VERY painful" if I waited and I might need a root canal or lose the teeth" if I didn't opt for the nearly $3000 procedures). I had gone in only for a dental cleaning. However, Dr. Turney examined me and my x-rays and said my teeth were in good shape. She explained- in detail-why she thought so. She took time to discuss several aspects of my dental health. I so appreciate a health provider who wants their patients to be well informed, and who and does not push unnecessary procedures to enhance his or her own wealth. I am eager to sing Dr. Turney's praises near and far. I have suffered from dental visit anxiety in the past but Dr. Turney and her staff have made my visits low stress, affirming, and familiar. I appreciate their gentle care and community feel!
