Worst experience ever! My daughter-in-law spent 6 days here. The doctor did nothing & hospital manager didn't care. They made her worse. Had to go to Little Rock to get the proper care. Go somewhere else for help.

Only been here a couple times but have no bad experiences. The only complaint I have is the ER is really dark and gloomy. The waiting room and in the back was so dim it made me feel like I was one of their only patients, idk why I felt that way but I did, other than that it’s fine. Doctors , nurses, PCTs all seemed to be doing great! I like that it’s a newer hospital as well. Maybe cleaner than some hospitals.

My husband was well taken care of in ICU as well as the step down floors. I cannot say enough good things about all of the nursing staff. Not only did they give him great care, they took care of me as well. They took a high anxiety situation and made me comfortable. We were there for two weeks. The cafeteria staff, the custodians and the officers out front were so nice. His physicians made sure to explain everything they were doing in great detail. Thank you, The Knights

I visited BHMC on 5/17/2026 because I had been suffering for 4 days with a severe sore throat, headache, sneezing, and coughing. Over-the-counter medications and home remedies were not helping. When I looked at my throat at home, my uvula had red bumps and the back of my throat looked very irritated, so I was concerned I might have strep throat. When I arrived, two nurses checked me in. One took my temperature and blood pressure and swabbed my throat and nose, saying it was possible I had strep throat. Another nurse briefly looked at my throat and said, “Your uvula looks great,” which confused me because it was visibly red and irritated. After check-in and testing, I was sent back to the waiting room for over 3 hours. Eventually, I was taken to the back where one nurse gave me a warm blanket and another brought me a prescription for lidocaine. Shortly afterward, the nurse from the front came back, rechecked my blood pressure, and told me they were preparing my discharge paperwork. I then asked, “So I’m not seeing the doctor?” She responded that both tests were negative. I was never evaluated by a doctor or given a proper explanation about what could be causing my symptoms. I have never been to a hospital where a patient was discharged without ever seeing a physician or receiving a clear diagnosis. I explained that my 1-year-old grandson had rhinovirus and that everyone in the house had become sick, unable to sleep at night because of the symptoms. Even after sharing this information, I still left without answers and feeling like my concerns were overlooked. I understand tests can come back negative, but patients still deserve proper communication, evaluation, and reassurance. Instead, I left feeling dismissed while still very sick. After my visit, I looked up the hospital reviews and unfortunately noticed many others describing similar negative experiences. I hope this review encourages improvements in patient care, communication, and overall professionalism.
I’m just trying to get better so I can drive back home. Just came to visit for Mother’s Day.

Best staff I have ever seen at a hospital! My doctor and main nurse were so sweet and did everything they could to help me! This is the only ER I’ve been to with little wait time and a staff that actually takes care of you and does the very best! The nurse I had for what I thought was a dental abscess but turned out to be something different deserves the highest pay raise she can get!:)

Dear Baptist Health Medical Team, Me and my wife just received assistance for the delivery of our baby in the Womans Center and we are beyond amazed with our experience! Dr. Ordonez is the best physician my wife has ever had! She was very thorough with health assessments, she displayed active listening to our personal preferences and executed them with precision. The delivery was by no means short of pure excellence and resulted in no complications. Me and my wife are so thankful that we had her for all of our visits and the delivery. Her personality was fun, energetic and yet very considerate. She is a great representative to display for the reputation of this facility. Thank you very much Doctor! We also had an RN named Sherry as our overnight nurse and she was over the top and absolutely fantastic! She helped my wife and baby throughout the night and checked in every 2 hours to ensure the baby and Mom were well. There was no need to even ask for anything as she already had things ready before we had to ask. She was professional and yet very personable. My wife is so happy with her entire team of nurses that helped throughout the entire labour as well. This experience was certainly a blessing and a breeze. Births can be stressful for a mom but my wife had full confidence in her team and they made her feel at home. We are so grateful and thank you all!! We want to thank RN Carly and RN Jodie as well. The facilities were very clean, equipment functioned well and the environment was as good as home. Well done! May God bless you all for your efforts and for making this such a wonderful and satisfactory interaction. This was comparable to a resort overnight stay.

Worst so-called ER I've ever been to... Went once and couldn't believe their lack of concern for people. Arrived early afternoon with complications from COPD and an elderly man had been waiting 2 hours with signs of heart attack. After another 5 hours they took him back and while still waiting to be seen myself, a young lady came from the rest room falling. Patients waiting were the only ones to go to help her even though 2 nurses were in the waiting room. As she was helped to her feet she fell again... Nurses still showed no concern as others got a wheelchair for the lady until another patient hollered out we need help over here and finally a nurse helped to get her into the wheelchair and just wheeled her to a corner and left her. After 8 hours of waiting myself, I walked out as well as others who were there. Their actions should be criminal and should the hospital be shut down and half of the staff should not be allowed to practice anywhere. It seems this is more of a place to go die rather than be treated for sometimes life threatening medical conditions.
