Ad a 40+ year old trying to learn something new and get back in shape, all I can say is that this place is truly the best decision I made. Walked in the door about 6 months before writing this review, with out any knowledge of martial arts or any type of contact sport. The coaches truly care that everyone walks out with a some knowledge by the end of the class, the community with in the students is truly one of mentorship and care, no one is here to hurt anyone, and extremely respectful environment with one goal in mind of growth in self defense. So if you want an amazing work out, in a place that is fair and growth cosius I would 100% recommend the Cabot Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Our 10 year old son started the class about 7 months ago and the biggest change I've seen in him is more confidence. I highly recommend all of the instructors and the program they teach here. The really care about the kids and make it a fun and safe environment.
I have been coming to CJJA for almost 6 months now, and I can honestly say this place has become family. They care about your goals in Jiu-Jitsu, weather is self defense, getting into shape, or wanting to compete they are here to teach and coach you. I also have my 7 &5 year old in their kids program and they love it. They get so much more then self defense. Doing it with my kids is also a great way to bond and share great memories with them while they learn a very practical way to protect themselves.. TOP NOTCH COACHS AND STUDENTS HERE!!!
