An absolutely amazing experience. They took the time to answer all questions and made the experience as easy as possible for our dog who had anxiety about visiting the vet. Highly recommend.

Not happy. $1,800 for a wrong diagnosis and treatment.

My cat had vomited 10+ times so I took her to the All Pets. They were not my first choice, but the first place that had immediately availability.

From the beginning I felt like the doctor was so focused on correlation instead of causation. She believed recent treats were toxic leading to increased ALT levels which were triggering the vomiting. From the beginning I felt like this diagnosis didn’t make sense as my other cat had eaten them and continued to eat them and was perfectly fine. A simple google search even confirmed the diagnosis was not likely correct based on blood work but especially when accounting for her medical history with GI issues. Wasting a handful of those treats could not cause an ALT level as high as hers was. I also felt like doctor did not consider current medical history when accounting for a diagnosis. Everything this doctor told me or recommended, I found completely opposite and conflicting information online.

My cat was hospitalized here for a day and released despite her ALT still being in the 500s because she wouldn’t eat, which was critical for her treatment. I found out later they probably could have done a temporary feeding tube if she wasn’t getting enough nutrients…. another miss. Once home she continued to vomit each day. I let the doctor know each time and was met with “as long as she has an appetite and is eating, these are good signs” even though she was vomiting it up. Another red flag that didn’t seem accurate.

She continued to take Denamarin at home. I was told to cut the pill into 1/4 but then discharge paper said 1/2, so conflicting dosage sizes that I had to reconfirm with the doctor. Later found those pills shouldn’t even be split because it makes them less effective. Doctor also said she could take with food, also later found it should not be crushed into a powder and mixed into food.

By Friday I was getting concerned with the lack of improvement and multiple communication mishaps and further information indicating diagnosis was likely wrong. I was strongly considering taking her to get a second opinion Friday but was waiting to hear back from All Pet’s first to give them once last chance to recommend next steps. I waited all day and didn’t get a call until 4:30, so too late to take her anywhere else that day. They did offer to give her anti-nausea medication if she threw up again. By Saturday when she threw up again they were closed so I took her to the Springdale ER.

Long story short, as suspected it has nothing to do with the treats, she has not ingested anything toxic, she has triaditis, specifically gallbladder disease and IBD (correlated with her current medical history). Her ATL had dropped further to 300 but because other underlying issues in blood work weren’t addressed previously, those had worsened, needing her to be hospitalized for another $4,000. Because I had already wasted almost $2,000, I could not afford to hospitalize her and could only pay $1,000 for the tests they ran and i had to bring her home with me to administer medications myself until I can get her in to see a specialist. She will likely need her gallbladder removed or long term medication.

I’ve heard great things about this place so maybe it was just this particular doctor but we will not be using in the future.

Unfortunately this clinic has gone significantly downhill over the last year. If you love and care about your pets you won’t bring them here. They have no standard of care. I brought my new puppy there for a wellness visit and they told me that I asked too many questions and that they would have to charge me extra if I wanted to ask questions about my dog. The exam itself was less than 5 minutes and they don’t want to spend any actual time with the pets or their owners. There were multiple times that I called in with a question after a sick visit about medication and I was told the doctor would call me back and they never did. They will send your dog home with a strong antibiotic and when you tell them, it’s causing bloody stools, they don’t even respond. They don’t care about you or your pets. They don’t respond to emails. Their staff and management are very disorganized. They will give you five different prices for the same exam. If you give them any feedback at all, they will blame you for not having a good experience. The staff now does not seem caring or understanding. I do not trust sending my dog back to have any kind of clinical work or proper needs done. I feel very misled by trusting this place and giving them my business and loyalty. They do not care about you. They do not care about the well-being of your pets.

It’s the way they made me feel over the phone.

My dog had an ear infection and super goopy crusty eyes. They addressed the ear infection with medicine that I assumed would help with the eyes. His eyes got worse so I called them for their opinion. The vet immediately went into LONG detail about why the ear medicine wouldn’t fix the eye problem. Which is fine, I understand. However, she continued talking with a certain sassy defensiveness as the eyes were not addressed in that first appointment. I hadn’t spoken a word but she sure kept talking without taking a breath.

She suggested Benadryl for allergies. I explained that I really feel his eyes and ears were somehow connected and still an infection. She said “and WHY do you think that huh? Tell me why you think that.” The tone made me feel STUPID so I exited the conversation and their business. My dog deserves better. She didn’t want to talk with me or deal with Roscoe.

UPDATE: we took Roscoe to a different vet and were given eye drops, steroids and antibiotics a couple of weeks ago. Guess he DID need more antibiotics like I thought.

All Pets still has not reached out to me to make this right or talk to me about the vet that spoke with me and her nasty attitude.

Absolutely great people, they’ve been a massive help to us and I can tell the amount of care and effort they put into their treatment of each animal. If you’re looking for a long term vet for your animal this is the place to go, flexible scheduling, kind and quality service, the staff at All Pets have nothing but love and kindness in their hearts for all pets (pun intended)!

I never leave reviews, but I have to with All Pets. They are incredible. I just moved here in August and my coworker recommended here as my place to take my animals. It’s been 2 times now, that we’ve had an emergency with 2 of our animals. They got those animals in the same day as I called and treated them with so much love and care. Thank you, All Pets.
