We have been coming to Vestavia Pediatrics for 10 years now, and the care has consistently been excellent. While we dearly miss Dr. Hamm after his retirement, the transition to Dr. Bennett has been wonderful. She is thorough, kind, and great with the kids. The entire staff—from the front desk to the nurses—is professional and welcoming. Highly recommend!
We’ve used Vestavia Peds for 9 years with two kids, and drive more than an hour to see them. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hamm (now retired) and Dr. Stone. There are several reviews about long wait times and lack of communication, but I have only experienced a long wait time once or twice (during busy season which is understandable) and I have never experienced poor communication. Shane, RN to Dr. Stone, is amazing! Any time I ask questions in the portal his response is fast and caring. I’ve never had issues with billing or the front desk. We love and appreciate Vestavia Peds!
Dr. Stone is the most incredible doctor I’ve ever met. He’s been our pediatrician since my kids were born, for nearly nine years, and he has always been amazing. Today, my 8.5 year old son needed a procedure that was painful and scary to him. Watching Dr. Stone guide him though the process was a master class in coaching. He told my son exactly what would happen and how this was an opportunity to rise to the occasion to do something hard, be brave, and walk out of there proud of how he handled it. It made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Stone!
