Dr. Ray is AWESOME! My daughter has been coming to her since she was around 5 yrs old, and now she’s 18 and wants to continue. She worked with my daughter for years from patches to ensuring she would have legal driving vision when she became of age. Dr. Ray is very personable and a true professional. My daughter looks forward to seeing her at each of her appointments.
The office staff is also AMAZING and very welcoming. We highly recommend Vestavia Eye Care for your pediatric vision needs!

Wow! I am so impressed with this place. I have a special needs kiddo and they took care of us from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. The facilities are nice and clean, and staff is friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend Dr. Ray enough! She really took her time with us and explained things in a way that were easy to understand. We’ll be back!
I have nothing but positive. Yesterday was my first visit. I'll start at the beginning. Che'rre and Kristen were fabulous. Looked up and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I joked around with them a bit about my name being Karen and that I was out to change the impression! There is no use in being a negative Nelly (sorry Nelly).
I then met Taylor. So sweet and pleasant. Went through my history and conducted the preliminary exam and tests. Just precious.
Dr. Essenger was very thoughtful, thorough and communicated well with me. I am very happy with my results and suggestions for better vision.
