    1. Plenty of equipment. Generally nice/clean place. 24/7 facilities are convenient. Employees and members are polite. There is a good mix of different kinds of people so it doesn’t feel weird.

    2. Being able to sign up online and not have to deal with a real person to get in is convenient, but then they caught me one day and had to take my picture which is unpleasant. It is pretty standard as far as gym procedures go (maybe for security and to prevent people from allowing their friends in without paying or something like that). They have a right to do it and I respect their right as a business, but I just don’t like it as a customer.

    3. I see people scanning the app QR code at the door to get in and then go up to the desk and hit the QR scanners at the front desk too. Not sure if that is necessary, but if you scan once to get in the door, that should be the only scan necessary. I’m a technician/programmer. I understand how this stuff works. Basically it costs more money to make it seamless and it’s not a big deal in the first place.

    4. Account/Code doesn’t work for hydromassage. 2 employees called me to upsell their personal trainer program (I respect the hustle, but it sounds like they don’t have a well organized “do not call” type list), but then cannot be bothered to help me with the hydromassage and they kindly suggested I go to some one at the front desk during my next visit, which comes across as lazy. If they cannot be bothered to communicate with their own co-workers, then it justifies why I’m not interested either. This is why I’m an introvert because when i detect BS i get belligerent, so i just avoid the confrontation. It doesn’t inspire confidence in their management culture and if the trainers cannot be bothered, it makes me wonder if they actually have the discipline and mindset to exceed health wise and inspire that in someone else. Then again, there is another sucker born every day.

    5. I come to the gym after hours and the app didn’t work (server probably down) so I could not get inside. It’s a rare thing. Check your app before leaving home.

    6. They pester me with emails (upselling and reminders/bragging about how good my membership is). I respect the hustle, but I had to block them because I respect my peace.

I really wanted to enjoy being a member here, but the billing practices and lack of support have left me incredibly frustrated. I was charged $30 in service fees just for making manual payments—on top of my regular dues. I can understand a late fee, but $77 for one month of gym access is outrageous.

To make matters worse, I was given the complete runaround. The billing number told me to contact gym management, then management gave me another number that led me right back to the same company. They told me the same thing I’d already heard, and after leaving my number for a promised call back, I never heard a thing. Nobody helps, and yet they have no problem collecting extra money.

I wanted to continue my membership, but these shady billing practices and lack of accountability make it clear this company cares more about squeezing fees out of members than actually supporting them. Members deserve honesty, not a maze of excuses and hidden charges.

Update , I was told to call to “discuss my concerns further.” I did — only to be told to call back Monday. When I called again, I got the same runaround and still no answers.

The late fee I can accept — that part makes sense. But what I cannot accept is a mysterious $30 “service charge.” Nobody can tell me what this fee is even for. The billing number told me one thing, the manager told me something completely different, and I was also billed a separate $9.50 late fee. So which is it — a late fee or a service charge? Because it’s definitely not the annual fee, and no one can give me a straight answer.

And let’s be real — the bill was late because I’m not about to pay more than what I initially agreed to, especially when the extra charges don’t even add up. I’m not handing over $30 just because no one in this company can explain what I’m supposedly paying for.

I tried giving them another chance, but the billing is confusing, the communication is inconsistent, and the lack of accountability speaks volumes. If you want honesty and transparency, this is not the place.

I was having trouble with my barcode not working. The front desk took the time to correct this issue for me. Greatly appreciated!

This gym is awesome for me. Plenty of equipment, clean, and weight lifting toys that are rare to see. I highly recommend CLUB4.
