I have used Dr. Brown for almost 30 years for both dogs and cats that we have had. Just great on every visit.

We visited Dr. Brown for the first time today, and he was amazing!! So kind and good to my fur baby. She had a UTI and the front desk staff was so nice, they were able to get us in last minute that same day because we could tell something was wrong that morning. We got in the office and out within an hour and got the medicine my baby needs to feel all better soon and Dr. Brown even gave us a card and wrote his number on there for us if we needed anything. Such a great experience! If we lived here, I would be happy going to this office for all of our vet visits!! :)

From the moment the vet walked in, he was rude and dismissive. Within 30 seconds of meeting my 35 lb red Lab who was perfectly fine until he was taking to a complete different room. He was whining softly, not growling or barking and the vet claimed my dog was trying to “attack” him and his staff. This was clearly an exaggeration, especially since you can hear everything in the next room and there wasn’t a single aggressive sound.
He then insisted the only way to complete a simple annual checkup was to sedate my dog. Throughout the entire visit, he spoke to me like I was a child, not a concerned pet owner. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. If can’t treat humans with the slightest respect I couldn’t imagine how he would treat animals. Definitely won’t be coming back.

We had a great experience at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital! Dr. Brown was kind, knowledgeable, and took good care of our pet. The staff was also friendly and professional, and the clinic was clean and welcoming.

Winter Snowbirds..Bella our lab terrible ear infection. The front ladies got us right in for appt. Very pleased with treatment. Dr.very knowledgeable and explained everything. Bella liked the staff and we do too. Would Highly recommend.

We are visiting Gulf State Park for a week and one of our fur babies wrecked a toe trying to escape the stroller. It was inverted where the toenail was flipped north (instead of down) I looked at reviews and called for a same day or soon appt. The staff offered to see us same day for an X-ray. Dr Brown and staff were kind, compassionate and professional. They imaged Loki’s toe and Dr Brown was gently manipulating the toe for images and it popped back into place. He’s our hero today!
