My daughter has been going to Northport Music Institute for two years and I highly recommend this place. My daughter’s musical skill and confidence after just two years has amazed me. Mr. Fonbah is a treasure. After visiting another music school first, we stayed with Northport Music Institute because of Mr. Fonbah. He approaches teaching music with a special combination of joy, technique, seriousness when needed, and fun. The Institute clearly focuses on the whole child and sees music as just a part of their overall development and future. Can’t recommend them enough!

The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, Shawn is always amazing and very careful and thoughtful with his customers! His artist do some of the most amazing work I’ve seen in a long time! Will highly recommend going here for anything, me and my daughter will be going back for tattoos and probably some more piercings!!

I recently moved to Alabama from San Diego. And was looking for a place to get a monthly facial. I came in and MELEAH gave me one of the most fabulous facials ever! I get facials once a month and this one was top notch. I was a little concerned, moving from California to Alabama that I was gonna get the same kind of service that I would there. But I will be returning at least once a month. The spa is beautiful. The staff is amazingly kind.
Jamie is not only incredibly kind, she is also SO SO good at her job. I have been going to her for 3 years and trusted her with coloring my hair for my wedding and I have always been so happy with her work. She listens to what you want and always makes sure you’re happy with the outcome. We are moving and I am SO sad to be leaving her!

I recently visited Village Family Hair Center in Northport, Alabama, and overall, it was a positive experience. The salon is conveniently located on Main Street, making it easy to access whether you live in Northport or nearby Tuscaloosa. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.
Hot towels and straight razor are awesome. The best is the hot shave cream machine with the iconic sound it makes!
Audrey cut my hair and best haircut I have had in a long time, shaved the back of my neck (my Favorite Part) and then a hot towel. I live too far away to make it a regular occurrence but whenever I'm in town for appointments I'm stopping here. They were very busy and lots of friendly people when I asked for suggestions for restaurants even customers were helping. Excellent Barbershop!

Just walked in and got the best cut AJ has ever had! Finally found a barber shop fit! And they have a pool table! With plenty of seating for waiting, this place is super clean and professional. They listen to the customer and give you the cut you ask for....not what they think you need. Wish they could do female hair but they said no! :) Also got to practice my Spanish because everyone was so friendly. see yall in a couple of weeks! Great prices as well.

Becky (an owner) is very, very talented. She is both competent and knowledgeable. She has been helping me remedy a problem with one of my nails. My nails always look awesome when I leave the salon. The salon charges a different rate if you use a credit card so I try to have cash. However, I thought I had enough for a tip but the price charged was higher than I expected. Is it customary to tip an owner of a salon?

Proscape just recently finished up an extensive re-landscaping of my home in Northwood Lake in Northport, AL. 9,000 sq ft of Pallisades zoysia sod, install of natural stone double curved steps (18”x36”). Complete audit and repair of older irrigation system, all new sprinkler heads, new valves and new computer module. Tree trimming, mulching newly sculpted beds. Also installed two beautiful stacked stone decorative walls around ends of each mulch bed. It’s absolutely stunning! Completely programmed my unit to water all six zones (23) sprinkler heads. Just got finished with 2 a day watering 7 days a week for past 10 days. In two more weeks we’ll be ready for yard treatment program and mowing. Needles to say my wife and I are absolutely astonished about how our corner lot now pops! Quite a drastic difference. Big shout out to Austin Marcum and his awesome crew! 5 stars all the way!

I have been going here for both chiro and neck/back massage due to the effects from military service. They are absolutely wonderful and effective. Occurrences and severity of neck pain has stayed reduced as long as I continue going and the chiropractor which I have also started seeing has years of experience, listens, and uses a combination of wisdom, expertise, and experience in how he adjusts. The combination of adjustment and massage therapy is a powerful combination and both Janae and Dr. Hitchner are highly recommend. In addition, the staff annd assistants are super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. All around great atmosphere that promotes healing, care, and a sense of benefit that stays with you even after you leave.
