I had the Cambridge built the end of 2010 moved in April of 2011. It’s time I spoke up. This started as soon as I moved into the house.” I thought” I was buying new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, no these cabinets were used and came out of someone else’s home. The mortar in the brick is deteriorating. All the doors are not even, some are shorter than the other, with big gaps. The toilets suck, you have to flush them at three time to get to flush. I would never recommend this company to anyone! I haven’t been in my home that took a year and a half to build for even a year. The ice maker doesn’t work I have had four interior door knobs come off the door in my hand you can see light thru my front door the stove doesn’t work correctly and now I am having to pay an air conditioning company to look at the air conditioner because the fan will not come on! Shame on all of you for doing this to me! My dad passed away and you dealt with me and my mother and took advantage of me! I also used heritage to build my new house it was the biggest mistake of my life!!! The worst experience I've ever experienced!!! Do not use them!! They do shotty work and when I would question it they would say " Don't worry it'll be covered " That should be their Moto... I have pictures of the complete build of my house so I have evidence of everything I'm saying. I even got left a message written in my attic from one of the workers saying " I don't care no mo!!" when I showed it to the man over the job from heritage he said " his workers didn't write that " I guess I climbed up there and did it !! I'm sorry, I'm in my 60's and I don't climb!! They were drinking beer on the job also, peeing in water bottles throwing them in my yard. NEVER picking anything up just throwing it in the yard even though they brought their own dumpster. They used my toilet in my house as well, because I threw their toilet paper away!! My toilet in the master bedroom rocks because it's not even with the floor and one of the sinks in the master bathroom doesn't hold water there's air coming in under my front door, you can see daylight and on a windy day it sounds like a haunted house I have to keep a towel down to try and stop the air. The back door is crooked day light can be seen at the top of the door. I don't think they even know what a level or tape measure is... they over cut sections of my floor and instead of replacing it they filled the holes up with caulk ( which has now settled and is creating a hole) My foundation in my garage, my front porch and my back porch have cracks in them. Oh and my fireplace.. bricks are crooked they had to bust it out because of it being so bad then they reused the same bricks without cleaning them and half assed cleaned them after they were finished. The morter on it is cracking now and the morter joints are different sizes one the size of your pinkie and others the size of your thumb .one of my bedroom doors doesn't close either. I'm telling you they don't care!! When they get their money.... They completely forget about you!!! I moved into my house June 2021. My one year is coming up so I'm just going to wait and see what kind of excuses I get and how long it will take them to address my issues. I've been advised by several people who work for them ( contractors) to seek out the advice from an attorney which in turn will just be more money. I put all my savings into this house idk at this point I've even thought about selling it and just moving on. I do know that I would NEVER recommend this builder to anyone!!!
