Having multiple strokes, two brain surgeries, and breast cancer, I needed hair care products that would be safe and not harmful chemicals to my body. I use the hair care and body line for my entire family. My husband uses the men's line and has had fantastic results. These products have constant place not only in our home, but it our hearts!

I made an appt for my mother and I. Spoke extensively to Brenda explained we would come in 15 mins early to fill out paperwork. Drove over an hour. When we got there the place was locked up and no lights on. When we talked to someone they said they gave our appts to someone else.....not sure how that's possible when we were there and there were no cars in parking lot and lights were off. Looks like they decided to take day off instead of keeping appointment that was scheduled for days. Horrible customer service and really put us out of our way...3 hours round trip driving w no apology.

Mod Salon is fantastic!! I have been going to Tamara since 2006. I was having problems with my hair thinning and not growing after two pregnancies. She worked her magic and I now have long, thick hair and get compliments regularly. People stop me often to ask who does my hair and I tell the that Mod Salon is the best. They could charge much more for their services, but are reasonably priced and get you scheduled quickly. I also love that they use the Vagaro app for scheduling which is very convenient. I highly recommend Mod Salon for all your hair needs!

Prompt, professional service and a friendly environment keep me returning to Mod Salon. Tamara keeps my natural hair healthy and growing. Shampoo & style, cuts, color, conditioning, and sew-in hair extensions...I've been pleased with every service. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit, as I'm new to the area. I've been looking for a stylist for some time now and when I saw the photos on Mod Salon's Facebook page, I was very impressed. I made an appointment and when i arrived, was seated after I signed in. Chanda, my stylist, was very nice and friendly; she came over and introduced herself. She sat down next to me and asked me what I wanted. I attempted to explain the hair cut I wanted, and I was nervous because I forgot to bring a picture of the style, but Chanda assured me she knew what I was talking about. This has got to be one of the best hair cuts I've had in my adult life! I've received so many compliments already and I'm definitely going back!

Due to the highly rated reviews, I decided to give this a salon a try. I must say I was very disappointed in the level of professionalism as well as the service provided (hair cut). I have very thick natural hair and I specifically outlined on Vagaro that I wanted a wet cut. With this being a salon that "supposedly" has expertise in natural hair care, I assumed they would understand that wet means soaking wet or else you risk breaking the client's hair off. Natural hair can be cut soaking wet or blew out! I made an appointment the night before online for noon. I arrived about 5 after with 2 people in front of me. What is the purpose of making an appointment, when the time will not be honored? After waiting for about 15 minutes, Tamara (who I scheduled my appointment with) asked the shampoo lady to get me ready for my hair cut. The shampoo lady was very professional and did an excellent job shampooing, conditioning, and detangling my hair. After she was finish, I still had to wait because Tamara was so busy booking a hotel for a personal trip. My hair was drying out as I waited. I finally set in her chair and showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted. I felt she was so engrossed in conversation with the other stylists as well as hotels.com (on her personal phone) that she barely paid any attention to me or my hair. When she finally initiated a conversation, at first I didn't realize she was speaking to me. She even commented that my hair was breaking as she combed. I thought she would spray it to keep it moist/wet, but no she continued to cut. I should have asked her to spray my hair, but I was so disappointed with the entire experience and I was just ready to go. The cut itself is just okay. For a master stylist, I expected more. It is slightly uneven. I was very disappointed in how I was treated as a new customer. I was looking for a permanent stylist. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I will not be returning to this salon.
