Dr. Barr and her staff are amazing! I highly recommend Rocket City Osteopathy to anyone dealing with chronic pain, especially if it’s due to hypermobility/hEDS or coat hanger pain from POTS! Her staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s also really easy to schedule appointments. The waiting time is never long, but if it were, I would be fine with that because they have a couch, which I personally prefer to sit on when at a doctor’s office. It doesn’t feel like she is trying to rush you out the door, she takes the time to listen to you and notices things you might not be aware of yet. Dr. Barr is great! She's validating, kind, and skilled in her profession. She's been a great help to me with my lower back and neck pain, and I've noticed significant improvement in a short period of time. As a person with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos (and the trifecta), it can be difficult to find specialized care. Huntsville is very fortunate to have a doctor who is knowledgeable about this syndrome and can provide the skilled treatments it requires.
