Great group of folks! I know nothing about instruments, but my son wanted to learn. They have been so patient with all my (stupid) questions and have gone above and beyond to help us. I'm so grateful to have found this shop!

Everyone here is super nice. The owner is knowledgeable and cares about their customers. They offer lessons. Great selection of instruments. They could use more street presence to get the word out. If you're looking for a banjo, fiddle, cello, mandolin, or lessons on many instruments check them out.

I purchased my violin from HSS. I had a wonderful experience. The young lady spent quite a bit of time with me as I tried several violins before finding which one I eventually purchased. The owner was amazing and knowledgeable. Overall, great customer service. I highly recommend.
